Planning for our own trip of students and adult chaperones had begun even before Catherine traveled to Honduras. The student trip of 10 days began the Thursday before Palm Sunday and returned to the states late on Holy Saturday evening, 2001. The trip was composed of 9 seniors and 4 adults. The students were Steve Anthony, Jesse Erdmann, Stephanie German, Becki Kass, Joe Langel, Erin Leonard, Derrick Loutsch, Erin Sitzmann, and Molly Vonnahme. The adult chaperones were Francis Seivert, Cecilia Henrich, Jean Mayes, and Teresa Vonnahme. While in Honduras this team immersed themselves in the Catholic culture centering around Easter.
